Jason Kotecki (@escapeadulthood on twitter) joins host Craig Price to discuss Adultitis. Who wouldn’t want to be a kid? We all would but growing up has a way of ending that. Thankfully, Jason is there to put a stop to Adultitis, a common ailment in adults that makes them take life too seriously. Of course, after taking the online quiz to see if he suffered from adultitis, it was not unexpected that Craig would have Stage 2 Adultitis: an aggressive and pervasive form of the disease. Together, Jason and Craig discuss how Jason’s latest book “Penguins Can’t Fly +39 Other Rules That Don’t Exist” can help those that suffer from Adultitis. They talk about eating dessert first, Jason’s desire, yet reluctance to buy redshoes due to Adultitis as well as random things like why Craig’s wife makes him sleep on certain sides of the bed at hotels, stormtrooper armor, digital art and much more.
In his enlightening book, Jason uncovers some of the most useless rules so you can shift perspective and start seeing the world with wonder once again. You can learn more about Jason and his book at http://rulesthatdontexist.com or just go and buy his book (out TODAY!) on Amazon.

Tami Evans, co-chair of the NSA Influence 2015 convention, give host Craig Price a preview of what to expect in Washington DC. As many of you know, Craig is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and each year attends the national convention. This year, the convention (named Influence 2015) will be at the Marriott Wardman Park from July 18th through July 20th. Tami and past guest Brian Walter are this year’s convention chairs and have they got a convention for you! With a load of breakout sessions, including Craig’s “Podcasting Your Influence: Using Podcasts To Share Your Expertise” on Sunday the 19th at 4:30PM (Craig’s going to record it for a future podcast), the convention will also offer great keynoters like Jeffrey Hayzlett and the one and only George Takei!
Tami and Craig go over the entire schedule, highlighting sessions like Friday night’s comedy night “The Speaker Games!”, a great opening session with the XY Fast Five, Celebrity Sunday, Money Monday and Influence Tuesday. It’s all capped off with a gala CPAE Awards Banquet (email Craig if you have an extra ticket!). There are tons of things to learn as Tami and Craig cover it all in this podcast.
Don’t forget the Cigar PEG charity auction on Monday the 20th. Head over to cigarpeg.com/join to become a member and get your ticket into this exciting night that benefits the NSA Foundation.
Director Paul Bright (@PaulBrightFilms on twitter) sits down with host Craig Price to discuss digital filmmaking. Comicpalooza premiered Paul’s latest film “Long Term Parking” on May 23rd. Little did he suspect that his trip to Houston would force him to cross paths with Craig! The two discuss creating films for the small, small screen (phones and tablets), how you think about shooting films with unlimited recording capabilities, auditioning actors a foot away from a cell phone camera and some of the pros and cons of the available distribution outlets for independent filmmakers. They also discuss how the new, smaller high definition cameras allow for more shot flexibility and how actors act knowing that they can do unlimited takes (in theory) without having to start the scene all over. Also, Craig blatantly tries to get cast in Paul’s next film. Pathetic, really. It’s a great discussion for anyone interested in making their own independent films.
You can find Paul and his movies at http://PaulBrightFilms.com and check out his vlog Paul’s Tub Talk on Youtube.

David Anders (@QuestionAnders on twitter) joins host Craig Price at his Q&A panel at Comicpalooza 2015. What is actor David Anders doing on the podcast?! He’s been the fan-favorite villain on shows like iZombie, Heroes, Alias, the Vampire Diaries and Once Upon a Time. He sat down with Craig for a panel at Comicpalooza to talk about his career, what brains taste like, some of his favorite experiences being an actor and even gets a little teary talking about the people who helped him the most. He also answers questions from his fans (that also includes Craig), shows off his pipes and generally goofs around for an hour.
They laugh, they cry, they even hug it out a bit on this live recording. If you’re not a fan of David Anders now, you will be after this podcast!
You can learn all about David and what great roles he’s played (fire up the Netflix!) on his IMDB page.
